don't think i can get a mortgage :( help!

hi

well i was hoping that somebody could help me with my complex situation but i'm not sure there's a solution but here goes:

i am tied into a mortgage that i got when i was younger which is my mum and dads house and i am on the mortgage with my dad - i don't pay anything towards the mortgage and at the time this was okay because i knew that i wouldn't be buying a house for a long time, then i met my hubby unexpectedly and now we want to buy a house together :( but my mum and dad haven't got enough income to swap the mortgage over into their names as yet and so i don't think i'll be able to get a mortgage....is there any solutions to problem...:(

thanks for taking time to read this :(

    Are there any solutions?

Not really. Given what you've said so far.

But there may be ways to accelerate a solution, which would basically revolve around getting your parents into a position where they can refinance themselves. How far away are they from that?

You'll have to earn more then if you parents can't.

How about taking on a 2nd job for a year or so to get a bigger deposit?
  • Does your hubby earn enough to take a mortgage out under his own name? That or the bigger deposit is the only real solution.. :(
