Hole in rear exhaust, slight blowing. But looks like it's meant to be there...

There's a tiny pin hole at the front bottom of my rear exhaust back box - but it looks like it is meant to be there. Is this a drain hole of some description? There is slight blowing there. Have wire brushed it and the exhaust itself doesn't look too bad. Just checking things over before the MOT. If there are such drain holes I'm surprised my tub of exhaust repair putty does not mention this, and that the Haynes manual doesn't. Was about to fill it in but thought better of it and to ask first :)

Thanks in advance.
