Advice: Buying & selling with same Estate Agent

Hi all,
We're thinking of moving up the ladder in our current area and there is particular Estate Agent that seems to have the monopoly on the types of houses we are looking for. I've also had equal best quotes to sell our house from this Agency and one other. So my question is this:
Are there any advantages or disadvantages of selling and subsequently buying via the same Agency.
Thanks in advance,
David
