Improving Credit Rating

Hi, I'm new to this so hope someone can help.

I was made redundant in Sept 08 and unfortunately my mortgage and car finance fell into 7 months arrears. I did not have any payment protection on either and clearly could not make the payments without any income. I have a written agreement with my mortgage lender to recover the situation, and since starting work in March have repaid the outstanding payments - and closed the agreement on my car.
I will be able to repay my mortgage arrears within the next 4 weeks and would like to know what I should do and say to the respective lenders to ensure my credit file reflects the fact that I am up to date with my payments. Any other advice would be very gratefully received.

Thanks.

I personally would add a notice of correction (NOC) to my credit file explaining that you was made redundant but have now fully paid the arrears and you do not make a habit of missing payments......
