Has anyone had any luck with HSBC?

Sent form in 6 weeks ago claiming financial hardship (Had about £1000 charges in past year and Rent and Council Tax arrears) and not had any letters or anything from them.

How long do you wait before you would expect to receive something?

Have you had an acknowledgement of receipt of your letter from HSBC ?

If not I would give them a call and check they received it.

They do have 8 week to respond properly so another two....but IF your circumstances are urgent then just bug hell out of them on the phone

I called them earlier today but they never told me they couldn't give me any info.

Should it be a certain department i contact?

Hardshp from the banks, especially HSBC is very difficult. But keep at them you get nowhere without hard work, and luck!
