hi i have a loan with LLOYDS TSB joint loan with my husband i have just been diagnosed with breast cancer but when i went to claim they told me that as my husband was the first signature he was the only one that could claim? can anybody help me please. Surely if it is in joint names we should both be able to claim

Many PPI policies are not joint but single. I seem to recall that LloydsTSB personal loans are also set up on individual basis and not joint (unless secured or business loans). So, assuming that is the case with you (I know you say joint but I think you are probably wrong there), then you are not covered.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
