posting canvas

Has anyone here got experience of posting or receiving canvas?
I got 3 box framed canvas (all part of one picture) that I need to send abroad. I really dont want a neg for not wrapping them properly so what would be the best way to ensure that they arrive whole?
They are 20" x 8". I thought perhaps stack them on top of each other wrap them in bubble wrap, then one layer of carboard and then brown paper.

ETA: O/T - what language is your signature? What does it mean? (Something like "those that tar others should worry about their own behaviour"?)

Thanks for your reply, I'll get a box for the canvas.

BTW. It's Swedish, a rough translation would be " If you take long enough steps you don't have to worry about your shoelaces being undone"
