    I went on a cruise and thoroughly enjoyed meself.....food was fantastic.

    I can't go on any more holidays..even the cheap ones seem to end up costing me a fortune....

    I'll get my week in NY for cheaper than that:
    £220 flight
    £280 hotel
    £300 spending money (all food, drinks and fun to come out of this)...

    But then I did go to Venice for 3 days for £150 for two people a while back - I am the queen of cheap holidays!!! :)

    It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
    We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
    Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

    Same with us Sammy.........we just seem to go over budget time and time again on holiday and that is us not being extravagant:o

    Our little London jaunt ended up costing us over £500:eek::o
    But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

    I'd love a holiday somewhere. It doesn't even have to be abroad, somewhere in this country would be just fine. I could get some lovely coach holidays from Scarborough but my boyfriend gets travel sick. Maybe I'll take off on my own for a weekend over the summer.

    1994 - ouch....

    This year I am doing 2 NY trips (and possibly a 3rd later in the year)
    Vienna, Frankfurt and one other trip in the summer (Spain or Greece or somewhere), oh and its likely I'll pop over to Paris for a long weekend and visit my friend who works at Eurodisney :D

    I'm going to a Girlguiding training centre, Foxlease, in Lyndhurst. 62 adult leaders going. Should be a laugh. We have outside trainers so once I get everyone there I can relax a bit.

    when we went to cornwall last year in cheapo caravan...it still cost us loads cos weather was crap......
