Hi I bought a Technika 20" TV six months ago which has developed a fault. Unfortunately I have lost the receipt.
However I do have the bank statement with proof of purchase. Do you know if they will they accept that?
Thanks in advance

I think so, as long as it says tesco on the statement and the amount you were charged is the same as that at which they were selling the tv for.Back by no demand whatsoever.0

Legally all you have to provide is PROOF OF PURCHASE.
So yes this will be fine.
I had to do it with a lawn mower at homebase.
Despite having paid the extra warranty in store previously because i lost the warranty receipt i couldnt claim on that and had to use good old proof of purchase i.e my bank statements.0 -
They should take the TV back although you may be asked to call the electrical helpline first of all to see if they are able to help fix it. Call 0800 505555 and ask to be put through to the electrical helpline, the call is free from a land line.0
