How much do you need to have earned over the last three years?

I have just applied for a student loan/grant online ... I am just wondering if I have earned enough over the last three years to qualify as independent? My paltry earnings as an apprentice the last three years have been roughly;

09/2006-7 : £12k
09/2007-8 : £14.8k
09/2008-9 : £18k

As I moved back in with my old man to do this apprenticeship, I am worried I wont get classed as independent!? I am 25 on the 16th of September so only just missed the cut off point lol.

    I think that you are well over the acceptable level. You've been a very well paid apprentice; many graduates would be happy to be earning these sort of amounts!
