America 29% v UK 20% .....be very careful !

As in the past, its been quoted that the UK economy follows in line with the US economy.

If this is so,I believe we still have some way to go.There may be some upward trend in buying activity reported recently, but how does the economy as a whole stand ?

Exports are down a massive amount, unemployment is up by a large amount, the countries debt is up a fraction (joke),pay increases are rare, and if anything, workers hours are being capped.

Food prices are up on a 12 month period,as are utility bills and so on and so on.......

There seems to be a messege in all of this:

Be very careful with your money......if you have any that is !

Exactly. The worst for the UK economy has yet to come.

Actually, the office where I used to work are seeing INCREASED exports and DECREASED imports.......which is a begger as I am an import bod.

Something which is seemingly common amongst the other shipping lines too.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Yep, that's our wonderful, independent, devalued Sterling working for us exactly as it should. The UK now has one of the most competitive economies in Europe.

Is that why we still import around £3,000,000,000 than we export every month..?

A reported 29% drop in property prices from their highest selling point in the US

At present a reported 20% drop in property prices from their highest selling point in the UK.

Hope this makes it clearer for you CLAPTON
