Car ran into nieghbours garage, destroyed side wall, the neighbours car was pushed through thin single block wall dividing garages and has damaged several tools lawnmower bikes etc. the garage is now unsafe and is in danger of falling down, her side already has roof touching ground. who do i claim from? as driver may not be insured!!!. can i claim for secure storage of tools etc?what happens if something is stolen before building is made secure?:eek:

The easiest way is to claim off your own Insurance company, give them a call as the will probably authorise emergency work over the phone.
The alternative is to claim off the drivers insurance (If they have any) this can be checked here https://www.askmid.co.uk If they do not have cover there is a possibility you could claim via the MID who deal with uninsured driver claims0
