From 2nd April, children under 11 can travel for free on London Underground and DLR after 9.30am Monday to Friday, or all day weekends when accompanied by a fare-paying adult.
Additionally, adults with a travelcard can purchase up to 4 children a child travelcard in addition to the children travelling for free. In other words, for each adult, up to 4 under 11s can travel for free, and up to 4 children can travel for a £1 when travelling off-peak.
