I need to create a weekly rota for 10 people showing whether they are office based or out on site or on holiday etc etc................. something along the lines shown below.
MON TUE WED THU FRI

The rota will be subject to frequent change, even during the week in question so needs to be viewable by all involved. We used to have a rota like this located in a central folder that everyone could access, but following various reorganizations and relocations the central folder system is no longer available. Grateful for advice on whether it's possible to use Outlook as the equivalent of a central folder - and if so where I can find clear guidance on creation of a rota. I've had a (brief) preliminary look at the Outlook Help instructions but find them rather difficult to follow. Any pointers from Outlook experts would be much appreciated.
Thanks.

No you can't - well, I think you can using a shared Calendar and even then, each user needs to open that shared Calendar in addition to their own one and I don't think it will look the way you want it to.
Can you not just put the rota for next week into a table in Word or into Excel and then put it on a drive you can all access? Or do you mean that "there is no central folder" means there is no shared drive?Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac0 -
I used to use Novell, and with that diary system you could share calendars wth others, and vice versa, so that when you opened your diary each persons day was listed side by side, and you could add or remove anyone diary quite easily.
I now have Outlook and I noticed there is a sharing functionality, which seems to be similar. It seems you can either use a server, or even publish it to the net. May be worth looking at. Just type calendar shaing into Help and there's quite a lot of info.0
