student loan/bank loan?

I really want a new car,problem is that is cost about £12,000 .I need about 3k and don't know how to find this much money.should i take out a student loan and use it on my car
or should i get a bank loan,student overdraft ?? Any ideas would be much appriciated.

£12K? is this a wants versus needs situation?! if you have £9K already and 'only' need £3K more then you have great savings that you want to use up AND get debt to cover the rest? buy a cheaper car (if you need a new one at all) and keep some savings....:happyhear0
