My car has no towbar, in the past, I have fitted them myself but I really dont have the time at present. i was wondering where the cheapest kind of place is.
The local towbar specialist is quoting me £243 + VAT and every other local place is in the same ballpark figure. They have all made it clear that they will not undertake a "fit only" service which was a hope I had. They all have a huge mark up on them. I looked on https://www.diytowbars.com and found a bar for £90 when I was being quoted £150 for the bar as part of the fitting, what do you reckon? 50-60 quid trade price?
What is a reasonable figure to pay? I know it varies from vehicle to vehicle but over 200quid is taking the
It's a '99 Subaru Legacy and I need just the N socket (single type)

Bucklay Towbars, Place Of Goval, Dyce - out the Banff road through the old railway bridge about 1/2 mile and it is off to the left. They just deal in towbars and you will not get cheaper on branded towbars. Will give you a price for supply/fit.
