Just been refused abbey 0% card. Like other people have mentioned on here my credit score is over 900 and pay bills etc on time every month. I have 6k i was going to transfer and pay off over the 15 month period so at the end of 15 months my balanced would be cleared.
Is it worth contacting the under writers of abbey or try other card companies. Currently i'm with MBNA so i think my options my be limited. Any advise would be great. Thanks in advance.

It's probably quicker to apply for another credit card, tbh. Which option is best depends, to some extent, on which cards - besides MBNA - you have at the mo or have held recently.
13 months at 0% is currently available to new customers from Halifax on balance transfers made in the first 90 days. There's a 3% BT fee.
Minimum monthly payment is just 1% of the balance shifted

Score means nothing - it's just something the credit rating agencies flog. The companies analyse the data by their own methodologies0
