  • Hi Hypno

Really pleased for you that your hard work over the year has resulted in a bonus that gets rid of that dreaded Egg...well done.

Signature is looking very promising and actually inspiring.

Is your OH as pleased as you or does he take it more in his stride as he is not the money worrier/sorter? I know he participates in the money earning full on so thats not a criticism.

Hope you have a relaxing and proud evening as you should be very proud of what you have achieved so far, its nothing short of amazing.

I think OH was a little disappointed that I didn't use the money to get new windows that we desperately need, or a new motorbike for him that he doesn't desperately need  But he knows that it makes sense to use it to pay the debt......and perhaps this time next year we can do the windows or something.

Reality is that he knows he doesn't have a choice......if he doesn't want to do the nitty gritty of the money thing, he has to accept what I want to do with it all! He just does the easy bit - going out to work in 3 jobs - doesn't take so much "thinking" about

That's great Hypno - you'll feel so much better when all the debt is gone, hopefully the windows will last another year and that's a massive chunk gone today :T:T

I do feel very pleased that the debt is reducing, of course I do, but I still have this strange feeling of "loss"......not loss of the debt, but loss of what I *could* be doing with that sort of money.

I could have bought a car, or had my fortnight in the Maldives........*sigh*.

I know I shouldn't feel that way, but it is difficult not to!

I could have used the money to pay for 20 skips and a team of house clearers and cleaners.........
