Cheap wheel trims wanted pls!

I need some cheap 14" wheel trims, just to make my old banger look a little bit presentable, as at the mo I am driving round with three on.

Want to pay as little as possible, has anyone seen any cheap ones, or have any advice on where to look - I seem to remember asda doing some very cheaply a while ago, but none there now...

try to find a single matching one on ebay, or look for one by the side of the road.

the three I have got are hanging on by a thread (cracked and damaged), so I was going to buy a set, thanks for the suggestion though!

If there's one near you Home Bargains have some really cheap. Think it's a £5 or less for a full set. See store finder on http://www.tjmorris.co.uk/

Lidl have them every few months or so.

Look out for them on their website. You will find them to be shatter resistant and much more robust than OM spec. The whole point of wheeltrims to the manufacturer is to make them flimsy and thus you replace tham at absurd prices eg Mondeo @ £16 each. Lidl's are much stronger and £8 per set of four.

righto... my car has dents and scratches on every panel, I am not paying more than the bare bl00dy minimum to make my wheels look a little tidier... :rolleyes:

i agree with this too,oem trims look so much better, if i was looking for a full set i would even prefer to put on a second hand set of genuine trims rather than new cheap ones.
or if i really was hard pushed for cash i would have each wheel off, sand then down and paint them with high temperature paint or hammerite or something.
i place cheap after market wheel trims in the same category as those pink "top totty" seat covers girls with no taste fit to a car with an external colour that clearly doesnt match with bright pink.

Just put a dob of paint on the wheels and go for a quick drive.

You will have unique and funky spiral patterns on your wheels, even the tyres will get some funkiness!
