    Well no surprised there.

The banking merry go round got to a stagte where hardly enyone could understand nor control the problems that were arising. Also, the strategy was to make people feel silly iof thei didn't understand the products being peddled.

Collateral Debt Obligation - nobody could really get to grips with all its implication, which led to a global pyramid selling scheme.

AIG was able to do things in the UK that it could never have got away with in the US.

Some of the shameful things discussed in the programme. One hopes that the banks (and, more importantly, the governments who should be policing them) have learnt a salutary lesson, but I'm not holding my breath.
Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.

    PASTURES NEW!

    We've been wondering about you ....:o..but you're ok...phew!
    Combination of stuff:
    - working on my sites, tiny bit of promoting of them
    - flu last week, completely incapacitated and unable to even feed myself properly
    - working all day now too

I registered a new domain this morning, I have an idea ... and I might ask for the help of some lovely people here... you're on the list. When I get round to it I need "people"/"members" ... this I think is "the one". The domain I should have built and run 2-3 years ago ...

Didn't watch it. Am bored with badly presented, poorly researched economic programs on TV. Am betting it did the entire "CDO is spawn of satan" "Greedy bankers wrecked the economy" blather.

Personally I think there should be more s e x and violence on TV, these sensible programs just get on my wick.
