I'm watching this now and one of the comments of the ex FD of Northern Rock that "Northern Rock has to rely on wholesale financial markets for funds because there isn't enough retail savings to fund the UK mortgage market" stuck.
If ever there is evidence that house prices are overvalued in the UK, this is it.0 -
