So long as you're still eligible for a CG card, you should get a £100 CG Visa Debit when your Maestro card is replaced. I know this because I've got one. AFAIK though, they aren't being given to new customers, although someone will probably come along and prove me wrong...

I'd never had a CG facility from HSBC. In January, my card was replaced with a Visa debit - still no CG card. So I emailed them through internet banking asking for one, within a few days I had received a £100 CG Visa on my doorstep. I have a Student account and have had an account with them since 2005.0
