If i knew that i could fix it me bleedin self :rotfl: :rotfl:irnbru wrote:Even stupider question: what's wrong with it?
Epson say its the heads dragging, which it aint cause that would cause smudging, it is putting clear lines through the text when i copy and print in B&W, the noise it makes is bad too, yet it prints text off comp fine, and copy and prints without lines if printed in colour,
oh i gotta get a life

Thanks wizard, i was a little dubious about buying from them after hearing some bad rep and now this

I really dont want it to go back as it was a good buy, but i always have this thing that once you start meddling things will never be quite right

Helen Ebuyer have great prices its the after sales that is poor, and no doubt wait ages to get anything sorted. I would take Epsons offer up if it was me, you don't have to accept a repair but if its a big fault no doubt you would get a new one. If they don't offer that is its not a minor problem I would go back to Ebuyer. You ain't got out to loose, and it isn't unreasonable to expect a brand new replacement. I just think that would be the easier way for you.0
