Admiral Car Insurance any good? (esp. claims)

Car insurance (Direct Line) is up for renewal. Admiral are the cheapest I could find, and are £100 less with half the excess.
Any experience with Admiral here? What I really want to know is, if I do have a claim will they deal with it promptly?

Many years ago I claimed on an Admiral policy without any problems. The only issue was that the repairer they used couldn't keep to his own timescale.0
