I use multiple pst files with Outlook, so I can separate mails into different categories, and I can swap them across PCs if I choose to.
Useful to know, thank you.
I have backed up the 2002 .pst file already, and am going to copy this onto the new PC this morning and try out the various options on this.
I will let you all know how I get on.....0 -
Just to let you all know that I used the Outlook 2003 File/Import feature for all my folders, and it has worked! All folders now in 2003 okay, and no problems (so far) with moving, deleting etc. I can't see any missing emails, and all the calendar/tasks/contacts etc. look fine as well. No evidence that any corruption probelms have been imported as well.
Coo, can it really be that easy...?...?....?... I was prepared for at least a week of grief from this
I didn't need to use the repair tools at all, which is great.
Many thanks for all your help, especially KathysBoy and prowla,
