Keeping buy it now on my listing

Hiya

I was wondering if anyone knew how to keep the buy it now option on my listing when people have placed a bid on a item, i have looked through ebay but can't find anything.

Hope some one can help.

You cant. Once a bid is placed the BIN option goes to make it fair on the bidders

if you list an item as an auction but with a buy it now price and get a bid on the item it automatically cancels to buy it now option, there is no way around it thats just how it works.

I have had alot of trouble with "buy it now" and don't use it no more.

Everytime I listed and item, someone in a far away place bought it and sent me an emil about paying with rupies. Meaning more ebay fees and having to relist the item.

Cheaper advert to without "buy it now".

    Easy way round that:

Start from here to set buyer requirements to exclude overseas bidders or bidders with NPB strikes etc.

The BIN option should be left after a bid is placed , may make people use it if they think they may loose the item ,even if they have bid , seller and ebay would be better off , but then nothing on ebay is ever thought through that well . Dont bother to use BIN with an auction listing its a waste of your money , If there is an item i might be interested in i always place a start bid to get rid of it ,(never do with normal auction ) as i may then get it cheaper in an auction listing .

If you set a reserve (£50 min) the BIN remains until the reserve is met.
