Hello - I'm not sure what you're trying to do. Do you want a word to hyperlink to another page/site?
The stuff you've got here is javascript which would normally go between the <head> and </head> tags in your html doc (ie. they wouldn't be in the <body> bit that produces the stuff you actually see.
You normally use the <a> tag to insert a link. eg: This page links to <a href="yoursite.com">Your site</a>

<a href="http://impgb.tradedoubler.com/imp?type(js)g(16123208)a(1579869)' + new String (Math.random()).substring (2, 11)"
id = "_id_"
onclick="document.write('<sc'+'ript type="text/javascript" src="'+uri+'" charset="ISO-8859-1"></sc'+'ript>');">Link 1 </a>

If you are serving affiliate links then she site will supply the code for the banner/text link/whatever and you would normally just copy'n'paste that code into your html.0
