Hi,
I currently have £8,700 in an RBS ISA and I am getting 0.8%. I want to transfer the full amount to an ISA with a better rate. When I tried to do this with Standard Life they would only let me transfer £3,600 and many of the other higher rate accounts do not allow a transfer of any size. Can anyone help me find the best place to get the best return on my money?
Thanks,

For best rates.
NatWest e-ISA - 3.51% AER
Rate guarantee? Yes, but not at the current rate. AER guaranteed to be at least equal to Base Rate until 01.07.09. Rate effective from: 02/02/2009.
Minimum deposit: £10,000 (to qualify for the higher rate). Operated via: Internet.
Notes: 3.25% is paid on total balances of £1 - £9,999. Must have or open a NatWest Instant Access account (excluding e-savings and savings direct).

Halifax's Direct Reward is looking popular at the moment. 3% fixed for a year, allows four withdrawals, unlimited deposits, and most imprtantly allows transfers in.
I guess it depends on your needs.“I could see that, if not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled.” - P.G. Wodehouse0 -
Beware variable rates on ISAs at this time of year. They usually start falling in July!!0

Yup that's why I went with the Halifax one personally. I'd rather know what I'm getting in the current climate!“I could see that, if not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled.” - P.G. Wodehouse0
