hi, my sister is taking her laptop to my parents house, she has broadband, not wifi. my question is, if she plugs into my parents phone line, will she be able to access her broadband? don't want any charges on parents bill!

Not entirely clear on what you're saying but my guess is that you want to know whether your sister can access her broadband connection from your parents.
The answer is no, as the broadband is assigned to a telephone line.
However if your parents have their own Broadband, she may be able to use that if you can plug their modem into the laptop.0 -
