Virgin Gym closed due to fire, Refund?

PM
PM Posts: 518 Forumite
I go to Virgin gym which is very expensive. anyway the building nearby was on fire which also effected the gym electricity supply.

Its been closed for over a week and now opening but still half of it is closed. Its usually busy enough but now with only cadio and studio avalible I think it will be even more busy!

I want to ask for refund for the week gone but also till they are fully operational. What do you think?

I know they will say you should have used other ones but I dont want to go out of my way to other gym then have hassel of finding a place to park etc.

    No ask no get!

It's worth a try, although you really should TRY and use the gym first to see if it is actually busy... if you can't get on any equipment, go straight to the reception desk and kick up a fuss. If that doesn't work, write to headquarters.

How far away is the next nearest gym?
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

They should be claiming off the insurance of the fire damaged building or even their own for lost business.

I would say, they ain't losing out so why should you!

    Get your claim in ASAP.
