Jiffy bags

Anyone know where I can get these cheap?

My local Post Office sell them for like 40p a go (the DVD sized ones), which when you add it up is kind of expensive.

Is there anywhere recommended to get them really cheap (but yet, decent quality)?

  • I haven't gone wrong yet with the ones from Poundland. Can't think of pack sizes off the top of my head but they do the job anyway, and work out at cheaper than 40p each. :)
  • Poundland sell packs of either 3 or 4, or asda do cheap ones too...
If google doesn't know it, how should i?

I buy mine whenever an ebay stockist has a sale. The last lot I bought were less than 10p each as I bought about 600 at a time. I've used two or three sellers now over the past year or so.

Aye the only problem with buying large quantities is knowing what sizes to get.

I don't go only by the 'letter' code I always buy from sellers that show the internal dimensions, actually I think most of them do.

I'm packing at the moment and the most common size I use is D/1 mail lite gold, but I have a box each of larger and smaller ones as well. I also use a lot of plastic mailing sacks, I buy them 1000 at a time again whenever I see them cheap.

DaPhenom, would it be rude to ask who you are using please and whether they do larger sizes as well?

I'm down to my last 2 boxes of D/1 and am running very short of larger sizes and my usual stockists haven't currently got a promotion on so I'd be loooking at around £48 for 500 delivered.

D/1 appears to be the size I'd use most.
  • Just get packs of 50 SD bags from the PO for free and turn them inside out!

    Can't get cheaper than that!
