RDRAM (Rambus DRAM)

i have been given a Dell computer tower from freecycle but it had no hard drive,another member gave me a hard drive,i know find out my new tower that i was gifted had no RDRAM (Rambus DRAM) and i am told i need two sticks of these,does anyone know where i can find some of these items or does anyone have any they could kindly gift to me.

hope it ok this my first post but i am sure going to be on here a lot,love the tv show when it was on and this forum is just geat,i am looking forward to helping as well as recieving any help i can on here...thanks a lot Richard...

    i guess its a Intel pentium 4 processor then?

    i've just had a quick look on ebay and there seems to be plenty on there when you search for rdram

    Part of the Furniture 10,000 Posts Name Dropper
    Check your model on crucial.com and it willl advise what memory is suitable for your Dell. You can then buy it elsewhere if you wish (Crucial will be more than eBay etc).
    No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

    I'm not sure Crucial sell RDRAM, it's been made obsolete now and has been for a few years. Ebay is really the only option because any online retailers that sell it charge a small fortune.

    Shame, I had a gig of it I let go free a couple of months ago.

    You might be able to find an old
    pc
    with it. If you go to an old
    pc
    repairs shop or try and get another computer on
    freecycle
    you might get it.

    It should be cheap.
