Help notification of thread replies going straight to deleted

I use Internet Explorer, and the last couple of days some of the notifications from MSE that there has been a reply to a thread have gone straight to deleted rather than my inbox. Has this happened to anyone else, or any ideas please?

Does your spam filter send them there? You don't say what email client you are using?No free lunch, and no free laptop

I don't have a spam filter as such, I merely have a list of "blocked senders" (and MSE is not amongst them) and some message rules to immediately delete anything with "loan" "v1agra" "p4nis" etc in the message. My mail comes via blueyonder. The funny thing is that only some notifications are going straight to deleted - others are getting through fine.
