Have I offered a full refund too early? It has been 10 working days since posting.

if sent by royal mail, they do not consider an item to be lost in the post untill 16 days after you post it, even for first class recorded items so you wont be able to claim compensation from royal mail untill then, it can be hard to get a customer to wait that long though. without giving u a neg.
  • Thanks, you just reminded me I'm still waiting for something I won 2 weeks ago!

    *toddles off to email seller.*
  • I'm not in a mega hurry for it (I can do with my own purse just now, it was just one I've wanted for ages, OH was going to get it for my Xmas but couldn't find it, so another week or so won't hurt) , sent this email:

    Dear *seller*,

Hey, I was just wondering when you sent my item, as I haven't received it yet.

Won an item on the 10th and have emailed today to ask when it will be posted. I guess the seller may have been away for easter, although a note on the listing if that was the case would have been polite.
  • Got an email, seller has been "ill" but sent it yesterday.
