Hi
Does anyone know of or have used a housing swapping site/forum for council tennants, I only know of one and a lot of others request payments, obviously if its a good one ill pay but I dont want to be paying for them all if they are no good.
If anyone has successfully swapped a council house, any advice would be great too.
Thanks

I Know of one free one...Google CCHE (the site's called coummunity council house exchange I think)
Theres also Homeswapper and houseexchange.org (Which may both charge depending on your current landlord)

In my experience, the local council actually dealt with it, they had a book of people that wanted to swap. After a certain period of being in your council house you had the right to request a swap. Worth giving them a call.0

I have actually been to the council and they are putting me in the books but they did say that trying to find a swap using websites etc will probably work better.
Im registered with a few sites now so fingers crossed.0
