Barclaycard sort code

Does anyone know if Barclaycard (previously Goldfish) have recently changed their sort code?
I've just had my CC payment returned to my bank account marked as rejected and I'm wondering if something has changed within the last month. My reference number is ok so it can only be their account number or sort code. It's not urgent thankfully and I can check my CC statement when I get home tonight. I'm curious though and wondering if any of you helpful people know

Goldfish was owned by Morgan Stanley prior to BC, so the account details will have changed when BC took it over.0

If it starts with 16 it is the old sort code. The new code starts 20. Barclaycard is on 01604 230230, they should be able to tell you the correct code.0

Hmmm. Do sort codes change? I think they just become obsolete when a bank premise is disused.
Could be wrong, of course...

The problem was with my current account provider.
A glitch on Monday meant 20,000 transactions were rejected including my own. The payment was resubmitted by BOS this morning. Unfortunately I paid my bill online yesterday using Barclaycards online payment facility to ensure I didn't pay interest which means I have paid twice. However Barclaycard have assured me that they will re-credit me when the double payments appear on my account.
I guess I should have phoned BOS on Monday to query the problem instead of asking you lot

Fingers crossed this is the end of the problem :rolleyes:0
