Although they come in for some stick on here, give https://www.empiredirect.co.uk a try.
Navigate to the plasma TV section and then look for 'award winners' to find rated equipment.
For my money I'd go for a large LCD rather than a plasma and probably the new Philips 32" with ambient lighting which is around the £2k mark.
John Lewis is always good for comparing the top brands and seeing the equipment in action - they will usually price match too if you find the equipment cheaper online somewhere.
R.Smile, it makes people wonder what you have been up to.

We have the 32" version now, which I think is ample, but Mr Lancashire Lass wants bigger! (mmm

Hmmm....
HDTV is around the corner...if your going to part with £2k...consider at least spending a little more, and get a HDTV ready screen otherwise, less than 2 years from now, your going to have a BIG screen lemon and will be looking to part with more money to get HDTV.
We are talking 35mm quality pictures on screens here by the way!!
Pioneer and Philips I believe have models that are ready for it all....
Ho-hum...!Beware Lego Men with Deep pockets...! :cool:0 -
