Student loan overseas studying

My eldest is going to uni in the states in aug. Can you get a student loan to study abroad from the student loan company. ? Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Not AFAIK, unless the overseas study is part of a UK course. Have you looked on your local authority's website? You apply for loans through them, so they would have the info about which courses are eligible.Signature removed for peace of mind0
