  • thanks for all the advice! i have another question.

I would like delayed start which means a even more expensive miele!:(

does anyone use their miele with a timer? i want to be able to run the machine at about 5am so i can hang the washing out before i go to work

I was thinking of doing this when I was buying a Miele but just wanted to buy one of the cheaper ones which didn't have delayed start. My dishwasher repairman said they don't recommend this as the timer could burn out as it's only supposed to be used on smaller items that need less electricity ie lamps which they are designed for. by the way he was Bosch/Siemens repairman so he had no axe to grind.
