Changing Reservations with Expedia

Yesterday I booked a hotel and flight package with expedia.co.uk. Immediately after I had booked it i realised that I had made an error regarding the departure time of the outbound flight (doh!). I contacted expedia immediately to try and change it to be told that its not possible and I would have to cancel the entire intinery and rebook. I would also only be entitled to claim back the tax and nothing else. Being a natural sceptic I decided to call the airline concerned and guess what....they changed the reservation in about 30 seconds for me. Top marks for the airline, no points for expedia.

If you quickly realise that you have made a mistake, most full service airlines will correct it for you. I made a name spelling mistake on a booking, phoned the airline, no problem corrected for free.
Expedia is a broker and was trying to sell you something you didn't need, shame on them.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0
