First Direct 10% less deal swizz??

I had been looking for a cheaper car insurance quote using the details on this very website. First Direct offer to beat your current quote by 10%. I entered all my details on the First Direct website and it came up with an attractive quote, about £50 cheaper than the cheapest one I had had, the details of which I had given them. When I got the paperwork through, I noticed that they were incorrect. On calling First Direct, it turned out that the quote would actually be more like £150 more than what I had originally been quoted. Funnily enough, their quoting system does not email you like many others I have used, so you can't go back and check the details you entered. But, having entered them numerous times on several different websites, I feel pretty confident I had given them the correct information. Call me a cynic, but what if they are preying on unsuspecting bargain hunters by relying on their lack of time and meticulousness to check the policy through when it arrives? If I hadn't noticed the errors on the policy, the money would have been debited and I would have had an invalid car insurance policy. Has anyone else had a similar experience????

well seeing as you have a number of days to cancel if you are not happy its not like you have lost anything then is it.
