I have had MSN as my homepage for 18 months or so. Suddenly opening up my computer i have the google page. I went on to the MSN site
but cant find anythign that says 'make this my home page'
can anyone help.

look under Control Panel for "Internet Options" you can manually set you home page thereEx forum ambassador

THIS IS FOR INTERNET EXPLORER
Open the website you want to have as your homepage. Click TOOLS > OPTIONS, and then click 'USE CURRENT' button in the 'Home Page' section!
You can do the same as the above with any number of tabs open if you want to open a number of websites when you start your browser.
Also its worth considering an alternative browser to IE for security. 99% of the nasties out there target IE, so Firefox or Chrome would be a far better, faster and more safe choice for surfing the web. bit naive when it comes to computers apart from browsing.
So do i just literally down load Firefox, does this give me an icon on my desktop, If so do i need to do anything with IEmake the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

It's appears as an icon on your desktop.
