A friend and I want to go to see Wicked at the Appollo. Ihave looked and the cheapest tickets for a Saturday night are about £75.
I have already been about 2 years ago and I am sure I did not pay anything like that. I bought the ticket from a booth in Leicester Square.
Are these tickets still available at these booths at that price? Does anyone have any telephone numbers of any of these booths?
Many thanks.

Have you tried lastminute.com? The Saturday night tickets start at £15 plus £1.50 booking fee (assuming these are available the date you want).
Great show, good luck.0 -
I suspect the booth you used was the TKTS booth at the lower end of Leicester Square. You queue up on the day itself and get half price tickets if available. Was it a Saturday the last time you went? Saturdays are harder and the month can make a difference. February, May and September (except half terms) are easier to get tickets for. The easiest night of the week to get a good deal for most shows is Tuesday.Yeah, whatever. I'm a grown up, I can take it...0

Thanks for these replies.
I cannot remember when I went the last time. It may have been a Friday evening. It was during October half term though.
Ali, you don't have a telephone number of this booth do you?0 -
Unfortunately not but click here for more information. I think you'd still have to queue up on the day itself but check the website to see if they do Wicked tickets or not. Not all shows use TKTS to shift seats and some only use it when audience figures are below par. Good Luck!Yeah, whatever. I'm a grown up, I can take it...0

I have seen Wicked more times than I can count...
Saturdays are the busiest and tickets can not always be found at TKTS. Sadly as The Apollo Victoria is so big, most of the seats are in the higher ticket band....if you book early enough though you can get some good seats cheap....try this site...

Gives good advice on seats and shows price brackets etc etc....
If you are wanting to go on a week day outside of school holidays day tickets are always worth a shot. they are £25 each for front row of the threatre....gives a very good view and amazing leg room. These are directly from the box office and go on sale at 10:00am. HOWEVER...be warned that hardcore people will either camp over night for these or get there at very early hours, especially if a understudy is on or it's someone's first/last show. If it's just a normal weekday though, getting there around 7:30/8:00am is an option....although these tickets are limited to 2 per person and sometimes you may walk away empty handed if some clever 16 y/o gets in front of you and lets their mates in too.
Long winded, sorry about that.Long and short - if you don't want to camp overnight try TKTS on the Sarurday morning....if not try the box office and see is they have any returns...if not you can normally buy on the day full price from the box office.

Is it worth getting the cheap £15 tickets at the back? I'm assuming it'll be high up too? Has anyone sat in these seats and been able to get a good view? Really want to take my family, 2 adults and 3 kids, but can't afford £40 a ticket! We want to go to the wednesday matinee last week in July. Can anyone advise?0

Hi Sammy, I know its no use at the moment, but ive just got 2 tickets for my girls to go on June 6th. Its the last row in the circle. If no one has reported back by then drop me a line and will let you know.
Just for info, seats in the stalls D & E come up as £15 as well if they are right on the end.
On ticketmaster search for a date, and if it rejects it, user power search and you can search multilpe dates, price levels and performaces.0 -
Thanks - I've never been to a london show before and have no idea what is good value or where to sit.0

Someone posted the link up above to Theatre Monkey - it's a brilliant site for showing you the best places to sit or whether it's worth getting cheap tickets in the various London theatres0
