sheesh Flower I have been reading this fiances' post thing...
you - I can see getting out of it
him - I am not so sure about
still he has the love of a very good woman
you are a very good woman
problem solved...
it has made me realise though that 'you' ie those in debt, have to be utterly focussed on the goal which is getting out of debt as quickly as possible
so you MUST cut out as many regular, but unneccessary payments as possible
mealplan
use what you have - money/skills
plan ahead....

Thanks Valli, really interesting but must be soooo hard for them both - have been in similar myself and lost our house (we managed to sell first though) so my heart really goes out to them... hope they can make it, think they may.
Today I have been working and am now covered in paint - I'm going to have a bath in a bit...
I am also going to go with DS to get a pizza - I'm starving and really fancy one and I'M JUST NOT GOING TO COOK TONIGHT! so there, don't care,
:p :rotfl:
another £70 earned today, but it was really hard... I will hopefully recover over this weekend. Well done you for working yesterday. Just wondering - do you have a blog & twitter? If you're looking for more work, I can imagine that might be one way you could get more people knowing about what you do - for free.
Have discovered that since I started following some people (on twitter) who work in a related field, I now have another five following what I do and more every day. If what you write about appeals, then you get more people. You probably need to follow some of them though - twitter etiquette. Can imagine there are some funny moments, as well as being lots of tough work.Debt at 13/5/09 £51, 970. Aim to be rid of this by 30/3/100 -

Yes, I keep meaning to do that - my friend does it regularly and keeps getting on to me to do it - it is on my list as usual, but is one of the things I want to start planning for - after this course I am going to sit down and work out my marketing strategy and stick to it - set aside time in every week to plan for coming days/weeks/months IYKWIM. I have just done a BL meeting (the breakfast meeting last week) which was on marketing in the current climate and how to win or something like that - they had a proper marketing lady there who did it for a living and she said the same - this is the way to go to promote your business - also use Facebook, myspace, etc and have links from your website...
I am getting a new website and seeing the lady on 15th, I will speak to her about the links ect and see if she has any ideas too...
Thanks for that though, it makes me realise that I really must get on with it now.

Whoooooo Hooooooo, finally got it to work.... :j:j Mmmmm, wonder why I picked houses
I really need a new car as mine just isn't big enough for what I do really as I'm always piling stuff into it like flatpacks and things, so I need a bigger thing like a Zafira - seats that fold down and it's like a small van, but looks nice when I'm just visiting clients.... mine always looks like a bag of s*** with rubbish everywhere and back tray broken.... This is my goal, hence the slider...
That extra money from the insurance company really helped boost our payments.... I have put it on as it makes me feel good, and it's all about feeling good isn't it?
I have also been paid today :j and have just worked out next months money, and if I don't earn anything at all then we are still OK.... YAYYYYY:T which means anything I do earn can go off the credit card (I'm paranoid about payments popping up unexpectedly so won't pay it off Debenhams SC until I'm supposed to) Hopefully a good month, but we'll see - the next two weeks should be good and I'm already owed £155 from last week
If I do really well, I may even be able to get the card paid off (mmmm, that might be wishful thinking, but it's a goal now... I'm getting payment mental :rotfl:) LBM April 2013 - £29,000.00Vanquis CC's PAID - Debenhams SC PAID - A+L OD PAID - Asda CC £783.75Barclaycard CC £1400.78 - BoS CC PAID - Freemans Cat PAIDF/D Loan & CC £1458.96 - Santander Loan PAID - Mum Loan PAIDRBS OD PAID - F/D OD £1026.52Weekly Grocery Challenge - £95.00 budget / spend £-0 -
Cute car & ticker! Can you give your current car some love, so that even though there might be broken bits, it is at least clean and emptied of rubbish? Might even find some loose change down the back of the seats??? Glad to hear you're okay for money in June - and anything extra will help reduce your debts. Am looking forward to that kind of feeling myself ... at some point in the future!Debt at 13/5/09 £51, 970. Aim to be rid of this by 30/3/100

Yes, my little escort is being cleaned inside and out this Friday - bless it, it needs it badly...:D
Hubby took his bike test today and failed...
didn't do enough life savers apparently - £190 for a retest  I am bushed now and need some sleep but had to pop on and say that and also say that I have no Internet at the moment - BT bu88ered it all up when they took over Monday - I'm using my dongle at the moment, but it is in great demand in this house...;)
Night all, I will update, but it will be leter in the week...LBM April 2013 - £29,000.00Vanquis CC's PAID - Debenhams SC PAID - A+L OD PAID - Asda CC £783.75Barclaycard CC £1400.78 - BoS CC PAID - Freemans Cat PAIDF/D Loan & CC £1458.96 - Santander Loan PAID - Mum Loan PAIDRBS OD PAID - F/D OD £1026.52Weekly Grocery Challenge - £95.00 budget / spend £-0
