shammy - if you buy Yorkshire Tea  not only do you get a nice strong cuppa, but they can be reused too (ok, it might take 2 on reuse to get the strength of the 1 fresh one, but hey ;) )

When I say STRONG I mean STRONG !

I don't use teabags much as I prefer to use big leaf loose tea but if I do its 4 bags in a pint mug , make my own blend by bulk buying from a shop in Bruges when I am there or if I run out a Belgian mate sends it to me .

If you're drinking mint/peppermint tea ... make your own during the summer! Just infuse some mint leaves (chopped) in hot water and leave it stand.

Freeze the leaves and make your own during the winter too!

The Egyptians do it all the time - order mint tea in an Egyptian hotel/restaurant and you get fresh mint leaves in teapot of hot water :D

I love redbush tea and left in water it goes really strong you can drink with or without milk and its really nice cold as i always forget where ive put my cup, you could easily make a pint n a half with one tea bag!ive never tried it as iced tea with lemon, perhaps i'll try that in the summer.
you can get free samples from the redbush web site it is an aquired taste, smell reminds me of hospitals, so it might be a idea to try before you buy.
    ENJOY !!

Lidl Peppermint teabags are much cheaper than that, about 50p for 20 I think (although I may be exaggerating!) and they are good quality.

I would also recommend their green tea. They used to do chamomile too, I'm still annoyed they stopped.

As opposed to tea so weak if the cup didn't have sides it wouldn't stand up!!

I only have 1 or 2 cups of tea a day so I think I'll stick with using a fresh t-bag everytime.

I have to have skimmed milk too in my tea. Hate any other hot drinks. I've been drinking good old tap water all my life - long before water was trendy!!

Agreed on the skimmed milk, Poppy9 - but for me, it has to be from a china mug. Don't ask me why but it really does taste better!!

Ah, Adam's Ale!! I was brought up on Adam's Ale ("If your thirsty, there's water in the tap!") I'm off to bed before you jog any more of my memories, Poppy! I'm coming over all nostalgic!!!

Queenie I think we are twins separated at birth. Nice thin china mug for me too. I hate, hate, hate, thick mugs for tea.

Love tap water. Much nicer than bottled water. I love the fact in Florida they have water stations everywhere in Parks, shopping malls etc. Water tastes great and is nice and cold.
