phew
at least its not just me then.
i love this site just for the reassurance but its a pain as was on a good swing of tidying myself up grrrrr.
never mind will have to spend my time on here instead!!!!!!!!Eleventh Heaven no 710 - we can all dream0 -
Also down here in southern Surrey connected via Entanet broadband and using Firefox3 or IE8. Their telephone support admits they have a problem and that people are allegedly "working on it". Getting a 404 Not Found and/or "proxy server" error in my case.
Presumably like everything else at Nationwide currently such as derisory interest rates for true instant access rate accounts (unless you limit yourself to 3 withdrawals a year or a one year fixed rate term) or the introduction of 0845 numbers for branches and training their staff to lie they are "local rate" when they are not the whole of this once proud "Building Society" is now going to hell in the hands of Sir Fred Goodwin like clones on its main board.:mad:0 -
Main website isn't working but Internet Banking is still working as I have a link to it in my bookmarks: https://olb2.nationet.com/0

Many thanks for that Bruce as I didn't have that bookmark and previously no way to access the page with the main home page now being down.
Just used your link and managed to log in to online banking fine. How difficult can it be for the clowns in the IT department of Nationwide to have a fallback main page on another server when one of their main web server access points goes down?
Presumably as difficult as them accepting that their new 0845 branch numbers are not "local rate";):mad:0 -
typical - you would think there would be some sort of meaningful error message displayed advising site down and when it would be back online :mad:0

Very useful posting thanks.
I've noticed that the log off doesn't work either. Wonder if it's a security issue?0 -
