Limasssol, Cyprus - May

Hi,

Need some info.

Going to Limassol end May staying at Atlantica Balmyra Apts.

Has anyone stayed there before and whats your opnion on them. Have checked Trip Advisor but only 2 reviews although both good.

Also can anyone recommend anywhere nice, friendly and not too expensive to eat.

Also (the list goes on) looking for ideas to do during the day as have 15yr old DD with us, where as I could lie on beach all day, she definitely could not.

And, finally, the weather ??

Warm or Hot at that time of year ???

Had a look and 2 Atlantica in Limassol, but no Atlantica Balmyra !!

Can anyone tell me which if any this Apartment this is.

The area you are staying at is east side of limassol out by the major hotel complexes(about 2-3 miles from city centre).

Area is very nice and quiet compared to the main limassol but more upmarket.

Food prices vary depending where you want to eat, just look around and you will find what you want at different prices so pick one and try it. Chesters is a nice place to eat at resonable prices, also i recommend a place call Terremare which is a french style resturant and looks expensive but believe me the food is superb and even though you are looking about 16/head for that you get a brilliant 4 course meal which is hard to beat.

Weather wise end of May is usually when the wet and windy weather is just gone and the heat starts to kick in. But at the moment we arer having a strange type of weather year, instead of being cold wet and windy at this time of year, we are basking in glorious sun and temps of 20C and everyone thinks summer is already on it way a couple of months early.

Loads of things you can do if you are up to travelling a bit but you really need to think about hiring a car as public transport out of Limassol is basically non existant.
