    Hi there

Just so you know, most card companies treat payments for gambling and payments on gambling websites as cash advances; this is standard practice. You will also be charged interest from the day of the purchase.

    I hope this helps. :)

I have never gambled so have no experience, but Egg Money do work in the same way if you are using them as a credit card.

If you are in credit with them, I'm not sure what the practice is. :)

Egg money say they work in the same way and its in the terms and conditions that they charge 3% BUT I believe they have never updated the systems

    Thats why I ask
has anyone ever been charged a 3% cash advance fee for gambling with Egg Money?

But surely systems were updated by all card companies to START charging the 3%? AFAIK they def charge the 3% if you're in negative balance, don't know for positive balance. At best it'll go through as a cash transaction, you'll be charged processing fees by the bookie and won't get any cashback - so best to use a debit card!
