Being a cat lover, I feel the following deserves a mention (hope I'm not duplicating the info).
:search: I'm sure you've heard of search engines that raise money for charity, well there's one now that helps cat charities.
The charity is Cat Chat, web site here The Cat Rescue Resource, and they have a search engine that raises money. Here's an extract from their newsletter:
