garage conversion will it devalue my house ?

    i'm a plasterer by trade and another plasterer i work with did his garage recently, he got the electrics done by a sparky freind and plastered it out then just put a door off the hallway, looks great finished off with the window in where the door used to be, i think the window was the most expensive part since he plastered it himself.

    i think garage conversions are great ways of adding a room, can be done quite quickly and don't have to cost a fortune either. i dont have a garage but if i had the choice i think i'd rather have the extra room than the garage so it would't put me off buying a house if it had a garage conversion, i think it would be a plus not negative point.
